A little about me
I’m someone who feels happiest when life has a little curiosity in it. Sometimes that means discovering a new destination; sometimes it means staying home with a good film, a craft project, and a cat nearby. I love both kinds of adventure.
Traveling lets me see the world with fresh eyes. I love the famous views, of course, but I’m just as drawn to the small details: a quiet street, the color of the sea, a lovely café, or the feeling of arriving somewhere I have never been before.
Cats have a special place in my heart. I love their curiosity, their character, and their wonderful talent for making any space feel instantly cozier.
I also love crafting and making things by hand. There is something deeply satisfying about turning a simple idea into something real, even when it is a little imperfect. For me, creativity is less about getting everything right and more about enjoying the process.
And then there are movies, music, and dancing. Movies can carry me into another world without leaving the sofa. Music gives ordinary days their soundtrack. Dancing is pure joy: a chance to stop overthinking, follow the rhythm, and simply be in the moment.
I believe some of the best stories are hiding inside ordinary days. We only have to notice them.
Why I started Steffy’s Odyssey
I created this blog as a home for the things I love and the moments I want to remember. It is my place to share travel stories and helpful guides, creative inspiration, cozy reflections, and the everyday discoveries that make life feel a little more magical.
This is not a story about having everything perfectly figured out. It is about staying curious, trying new things, finding comfort in small rituals, and making room for joy wherever I can.
